Training for a Life-Saving Mission

Lumi is currently learning the ropes from her owner Emily, who serves as a member of the avalanche rescue team. The path to becoming a certified rescue dog is no small feat. Lumi will undergo tough training through the Canada Avalanche Rescue Dog Association—a process that typically takes between two and three years to finish.
