The Great Escape

A miniature schnauzer named Sissy went on an amazing journey to find her owner. She walked 20 blocks all by herself to reach the hospital where her owner was staying. This shows just how strong the bond between pets and their owners can be.

A Worried Husband

Nancy had been in the hospital for about two weeks. She was there because of problems after a recent surgery. Her husband Dale was at home taking care of their two dogs, Sissy and Barney.

One night, Dale let both dogs out in the backyard as usual. When it was time to come back inside, only Barney returned. Dale started to worry right away. He spent four hours searching for Sissy but couldn't find her anywhere.

An Amazing Journey

While Dale was looking for Sissy, she was on a mission of her own. The determined dog had traveled about 20 blocks away to the hospital where Nancy was staying.
