The Shopper Who Chose Ray

A stray dog made her way into Dollar General with one item on her shopping list - a forever home. She slipped through the automatic doors and wandered the aisles until she spotted Ray, who was looking for groceries.

Ray had no idea he was about to be chosen by this four-legged shopper. The dog ran straight up to him, making her selection clear. Ray scooped her up and placed her in his cart. He asked store employees about the dog, but they confirmed she had simply wandered in on her own.

Concerned about her safety, Ray called animal control for help. When they couldn't come until the next day, he agreed to take her home for what was supposed to be just one night.
